The COVID-19 pandemic had put a hold on many things. Travel was probably one of the most affected. Charlie had to look for alternatives how to feed her travel bag without travelling. Then she heard about the lavender fields near London. Perfect! If you can’t travel to Provence, bring Provence to you!
Mayfield Lavender Farm is near Epsom in the Southwest of London and is easy to reach by car or public transport. Charlie took the train to Coulsdon South and from there a bus that stops directly in front of the farm. The entrance fee was £4 which opened the gates to lavender fields and wildflowers.
